Is Lefty free to use?
Yes, all features for budget and expense tracking are free to use and will remain free.
How can I change my monthly budget?
Start the app and tap on the "Budget" tile to adjust your monthly budget.
How can I change my key date?
Start the app and tap on the "Days left" tile to adjust your key date. You can choose between weekly and monthly and adjust the day.
How can I change or delete a transaction?
Start the app and open the transactions list. Swipe to the left on the transaction you want to change or delete. You can then edit the details or remove it entirely. By swiping completely to the left you remove the transactions from the list.
How quickly can I log expenses?
In just a few seconds, tap on the + button, enter a amount, choose a date (default is today to keep it easy) and select one of 7 categories.
The given categories are not sufficient
Currently the most used categories are provided, in the future it is planned to allow users to create custom categories.
Can I log recurring expenses?
No, recurring expenses are not supported as it would increase the complexity of the app. This app is just meant for simple and quick expense tracking.
Is Lefty suitable for beginners?
Yes, the interface is intentionally minimal and easy to understand.
